This study guide touches on a number of elements of the NSW Teacher’s Institute develop good teaching practice.
Levels: With some adaptation, all of the activities should be suitable for either primary students (Stage 3) or secondary students (Stages 4, 5 and 6). Please note: WICKED is not recommended for students under 8 years of age.
Learning Approaches: All of the activities have been developed using a range of pedagogies with reference to the NSW Institute of Teachers, Professional Teaching Standards. Using the background materials provided and the suggested activities, teachers should be able to devise specific activities to suit their students in a range of subjects.
